Christopher Robin: Watching the movie is like going back to childhood

Christopher Robin: Childhood memories keep visiting adults from time to time

Christopher Robin is a fantasy movie that truly depicts life of a common man in the 21st century. It is a heart touching story of a boy who’s grown up into an adult and leads a happy and fulfilling life. But his childhood friends that are stuffed toy still miss him and they want to remind him that life is all about happiness.

The story starts with Christopher Robin 

Robin is a kid and he’s preparing to leave his Hundred Acre Wood home to go to a boarding school where he’ll receive quality education and make a striking career. Before leaving, he meets all his stuffed friends and says he won’t forget them. The friends – Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Owl, and Rabbit – gave a farewell party to Robin and give him good luck.

Mulk: Third movie on Muslim tragedy after Garm Hawa and Naseem

Mulk: After Balraj Shahni and Kaifi Azmi, Rishi Kapoor stresses the same point

Based on a real-life incident, Mulk tries to portray the sufferings of Muslim families in a difficult time. Balraj Sahni was the first to highlight the plight of Muslims living in post-independence period in his 1973 movie Garm Hawa. Second time, Kaifi Azmi essayed the fear of a true Muslim patriot after the Babri Masjid demolition in his 1995 movie Naseem. In 2018, Rishi Kapoor is narrating the true story of a Muslim family trying to regain its lost social status as a true India after its son is convicted for a terrorist activity.

Mulk story 

Brothers Vakeelsaab Murad Ali Mohammed (Rishi Kapoor) and Bilaal Mohammed (Manoj Pahwa) live with their families in Benaras. As a respected Muslim family, they have good relations with Hindu neighbors and other communities. But everything changes when Bilaal’s son Shahid Mohammed (Prateik Babbar) was suspected to be involved in a terrorist act. But Shahid refuses to surrender before the police.
