Parmanu Movie Review – The Story Of Pokhran: Would the movie be as explosive as the Pokhran II?
Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhranis the true story of the 1998 nuclear blast conducted at Pokhran by Indian Army. It was a historic decision made by Atal Bihari Vajpayee government and it had far reaching consequences in balance of power in Asia and the world at large.

India surprised the world by carrying out the controlled nuclear explosion in the desert of Pokhran. Even the US President received the news of nuclear test from unconfirmed media reports. The test displayed nuclear capabilities if India and strengthened its claim for a permanent member in the UN. But there is more to tell than revealed by the media reports.

It is first time that someone is daring to bring the truth of Pokhran II before the audiences. In the movie, John Abraham is leading the explosion. He’s Capt. Ashwat Raina monitoring the massive task of nuclear test in the desert. Diana Penty as Capt. Ambalika is supporting John Abraham in testing the nuclear bomb.
