Phamous is a movie of love, power, lust and justice through revenge. Radhe Shyam (Jimmy Shergill), Kadak Singh (Kay Kay Menon), Shabhu Singh (Jackie Shroff) and Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) are the four pillars of this movie.

Radhe Shyam is a common man looking for love but little does he know that he has to face the village headman Kadak Singh to save his love life. Tripathi is the man with an unending lust to have more and more women. He’s seen making physical relations with a woman in the trailer. Tripathi rises to power with the help of Kadak Singh.
Tripathi wants Kadak Singh to bring him the love of Radhe Shyam but Radhe is determined to save his love. Also, there is the story of Shabhu Singh seeking revenge for an injustice done to him. But these characters are related to each-other in some manner. Use of local lingo of western UP and sightings of Chambal valley make the story more reveling.
