Skyscraper: The real-looking structure is the only interesting thing in the movie

Skyscraper is Dwayne Johnson’s big budget action thriller in which he’s playing the character of a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and an amputee. And Dwayne Johnson honors the amputee community. He respects the courage with which amputee community is contributing to the growth of the society.
The real-looking Skyscraper, The Pearl
It was a 240-storey building in Hong-Kong and it was built to look real said its architect Adrian Smith. Smith’s firm has been behind some of tallest structures of the world and for this reason Rawson Marshall Thurber, director of Skyscraper, hired Smith for the job. And he wanted Smith to make it unbelievable. Smith further maintained that it wasn’t a fictional building but a real-looking structure.
Story of The Pearl
The Pearl is declared invincible. Its owners have firm belief that no-one can ever breach its security but the security officer Will Sawyer has a different opinion. As a retired FBI agent, he can sense danger but the owners refuse to buy his prediction. One day a devastating inferno engulfs The Pearl without any provocation. The owners of the building hurriedly call a meeting and declare that Will Sawyer is behind the attack. Will Sawyer is declared a wanted but he escapes to a safe place leaving his family in The Pearl.
Amputee Will Sawyer
Dwayne Johnson plays the role of a daring FBI agent with his prosthetic leg. He didn’t let his physical incapacity to discourage from catching the culprits and saving his family stuck in the burning skyscraper.
Skyscraper First Look & Poster
The poster boy of Skyscraper looks determined while hanging from The Pearl. He’s balancing his body against the burning building with left hand. There is fire in the surrounding and also in his eyes. His wedding ring shining like a ring of fire in his ring finger shows his commitment towards his family.
Why watch the movie?
It is an action thriller with a real looking skyscraper and an amputee FBI officer. The director has tried to make the film as real as possible. And the real action would certainly bring the audiences to the cinema hall.
