Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi Movie Review

Let’s quickly go through the story

Happy (Diana Penty) is on the run again but this time another Happy (Sonakshi Sinha) is caught due to the similarity in names. She’s kidnapped and taken to China. During interrogation, she reveals her true identity but no-one is ready to believe on her story. The movie is like comedy-of-errors.

Mudassar Aziz tells more about the movie

As a director, Mudassar Aziz feels it is more challenging to extend a story without changing the theme. He compares the story with other sequels where the characters remain same but the story is changed or characters changes but the story is kept same.

Mudassar Aziz said that he didn’t want to make a Krrish where the character is same but the story is changed or Dhoom where cops are retained but the thief is changed. Golmaal and Housefull also didn’t fall into the category of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, maintains the director.

The story of two Happy girls

After much brain storming, the director and producers decided that there would be two Happy girls in the sequel. It would be like Diana Penty passing the baton to Sonakshi Sinha. The first Happy continues to guide the story from the background and the second Happy tries to clear the confusion of names.

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi First Look & Poster

The colorful poster is focused on Sonakshi Sinha but we all see the wanted poster of Diana Penty in the background. Sonakshi seems to be confused after opening a cane box in which she finds Piyush Mishra, Jimmy Sheirgill and Jassie Gill. She’s chopsticks in her right hand and she’s eating a stick in confusion.
