Facebook to train India under Skill India Mission program
Facebook is all set to take the responsibility of empowering youth with digital skills in India. It has signed a formal agreement regarding the incorporation of its Digital Marketing Skills in the courses run by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
Contents of the course:
- Digital Marketing
- Online Safety
- Financial Literacy in regional languages
NSCD will send the selected individual to Facebook for comprehensive training. Facebook will allow trainees to access its Jobs tool to look for work opportunities. Simultaneously, the trainees can use Facebook App or visit its website to look for jobs.
An advantage of Skill India Mission
The government annually trains approximately 1 crore youth under is various training programs. The objective of the program is to skill, reskill and upskill the promising youth and budding entrepreneurs in various fields including digital marketing.
Facebook’s commitment
